MGW hasn’t had a great season by his standards, sure.
But come on, just because he’s our “number ten”, doesn’t mean he’s going to control every game like Kaka or Wesley Sneijder.
We were backs-against-the-wall today, he was just another midfielder, and all our out-balls went to the touchline.
He did not have a “stinker” today. Grow up.

Tbh I can’t recall MGW having a great game since the whole Spurs debacle.

He missed a few close chances but I wouldn’t put a 0-0 draw squarely on his shoulders one way or the other.

Don’t know what game you watched, but Gibbo didn’t have a stinker today. He was avarage, yes. But did the job

MGW has been on the suspected fraud watch list all season for me.
We’ve seen a lot of silly flicks that give away possession and him flailing his arms about blaming everyone else rather than getting stuck in this season. He ran a lot more tonight, which I will praise, but need to see that kind of effort on a more consistent basis. There seems to be this weird consensus amongst some he can’t be criticised which I don’t really get.

If u don’t like him loan him to us (olympiakos). You can have Taremi for free.

MGW had a poor game, but nowhere near as bad as Hutchinson vs. Wrexham in the 10.

I think after the Spurs debacle he has become the instant blame. Don’t get me wrong, it’s warranted, he did try and move to Spurs, he IS our captain, performances have higher expectations.
I think fans single him out more than most others though.
