Playing off scraps and still has 5 goals. Would love him to stay but I’m sure he wants to play more.
New contract, even if just a 6-monther with serious wages!
At the BARE minimum, he deserves a real contract with real wages. If his fitness is such an issue, treat him like a senior strategic sub and make sure he gets paid if he’s going to be on the bench. He’s earned it.

Agreed but TBF I don’t think we were trying to kick him out, if his contract is pay to play as it’s been reported then no wonder he was looking for other options as we bring in £50mil in new strikers. Gone from first choice to third choice, and a massive impact on his pay

He is generally underrated too i think he needs like 15 more goals or something to overtake bloody Cristiano ronaldo while playing at west ham , Bournemouth and rubbish Newcastle at that time
Assuming paqueta leaves, if we continue with the 2 up top he should still get decent game time, pablo off around 70-75 mins and let Wilson play, if we’re defending a lead it’s unlikely he comes on but I imagine he’d expect that
I’d be telling Callum that he’ll get enough game time for the rest of the season to hit his 100 PL goals (think it’s 4 more now?).
Simply can’t let a goal scorer of his calibre to leave when we’re in this situation. I though Pablo looked clumsy, but did a thankless work out there with his hold up play and once he’s up to speed with the Prem I think he’ll be a really good player.

I think Taty’s energy and Wilson’s just overall striker skills (finishing) would work well together
I like what playing with a striker has allowed us to do, but there’s clearly a place for Wilson. I was begging for him to come on at 75.
I said the same thing in the QPR match thread and was hounded by a few supporters.
