Long story short, I live in the US and took up watching Premier League matches on my weekend mornings. Over the course of the past year or 2, they've been showing a lot more AVL matches so naturally I've learned a little more about the team and seeing how this season has developed, it's been pretty exciting. Wife got me some merch for Xmas (which ironically just arrived yesterday), so I guess it's official? Naturally I'm a baseball and American football fan but locally we have the Columbus Crew which has helped me gain appreciation for the soccer world.

Welcome fellow Ohioan!! I’ve been following Villa for the better part of 10 years now. From relegation to Champions league, it’s been quite a ride! This is such a great team to watch. Went down to see them play the Crew a couple years ago. Next stop, Birmingham!! UTFV!!
Did you perhaps grow an interest after Columbus smashed us in a friendly? Think it was them who pumped us like 4-0 or something in the summer after 23/24
