      Will never understand how with video replays & time to look over events it’s not possible to come to the correct decision 9/10.

      The way VAR is used is a shambles

      Might as well just get it to fuck now, fucking tired of every goal being ruined, it just needs to die now.

      It’s not necessarily VAR that’s the issue. In my mind it’s the incompetence and inconsistent application of the referees that’s the issue. I think we need a modernised, joined up training and education programme for referees with regular eg twice yearly refresher courses and appropriate certification. This is regardless of the use of VAR.

      I genuinely thought VAR would stop all the intimidation mistakes that the beggars were getting in the last few years. Cup final winning goal, Kyogo goal v Hearts in 21/22 etc

      But it’s actually got worse.

      Rangers are seeing goals scrutinised to death looking for slight Infringements. Scottish cup final Raskin getting yanked all over the place but his nudge on Hart ensured the goal gets chalked off

      Refs like Walsh who are now showing consistent patterns of “I’ll just give a yellow v Celtic and hope it doesn’t get upgraded”. But quick to instantly flash red cards at Rangers players knowing it won’t get downgraded. Even in the last couple of years we’ve seen Walsh & Robertson told to go to monitor to downgrade the red and stick by it.
