Ciaran Clark – Asia Trophy Shirt 2011

I love this checkerboard shirt and was fortunate to pick this up.

From the early days of McLeish, a tournament in Hong Kong in 2011 where we lost to Chelsea in the final but beat Blackburn in the game before. Ciaran played as a sub that game. I quite liked him as a player. I do remember him watching these friendlies on Sky I think.

I prefer this sponsor style without Casinos, much cleaner shame that wasn’t on the shirts later. Different to the replica shirts has horrible red tabs that go sticky (currently cleaning up). Also has breathing holes and sticker club crest and Nike logo rather than embroidered.

Love the Premier league patches with the Trophy.
