Tottenham will have more options now, it’s a good thing. Fuck Sky links though.

  2. No he doesn’t but he’s good at running. Unfortunately that’s not what Spurs need in midfield right now.

  3. Not sure about calling him bargain for 40m, but u cant ruin team with adding hardworking character, at least that part is aight.

  4. Love Conor. Was my favorite Chelsea player when we had him.

He’s got his faults and he’s not the best player in the world but give him a man-marking job and he’ll die on his feet before he gives up.

  5. Excellent “defensive attacker” – uses great work rate to pressurize defenders, win possession, then use it for high % passes or shots.

“Hard work is a skill, because not everyone does it.”

Was not expecting him back to the PL so soon, I think this is a huge boost for Frank.

    Didn’t improve atleti

Wouldn’t get in PSG, Barca or Arsenal’s squad, let alone first 11

  7. Not average by any means, but he isn’t going to improve any side. Unless you’re Spurs.

Not sure how he’s going to solve their primary problem, lack of creativity and passing out of midfield.

He works hard and runs around a lot, which is nice, but that’s about it.

Sure but I don’t think that’s what Spurs needed. They lack creativity at the moment

As a neutral I’m gutted he chose Spurs at the last minute, I would love someone outside of the “Top 6” ( Villa) To win it so want them to strengthen where they can

  11. JASON FUCKING WILCOX WAS WILLING TO DROP 65M ON SEMENYO IN JAN FOR OUR WINGS (which is a required position but not a DIRE need) BUT FUCKING REFUSES TO DROP 40M ON OUR MIDFIELD WHICH IS LITERALLY THE REASON WE WEREN’T ABLE TO PUSH FOR TOP 4 UNDER AMORIM

    FUCK THIS

I’m genuinely not just saying this because of my bias, would obviously have loved to see him at Villa, but if we’d paid 35-40m for him I’d have been annoyed.

It’s an opportunity missed for both player and club at the end of the day. Emery has been superb at developing these sorts of players in his career and especially at Villa. We could have done a great deal with him, even if he wouldn’t have initially been in the starting 11.

No disrespect to Spurs or Frank, but I can’t see how either progresses him.

  13. Why people saying 40 million euros is a lot?
Clubs are regularly dropping 20-40 million on kids you’ve never heard of.
I really don’t think 40 for Gallagher is a lot to be honest.

He’ll improve their midfield, it’s a good signing, but they’ve so many other problems it might not make much of a difference

And yet United would not get him on loan, Never mind Casimiro can not even move.
