Result is far more clear than what the game was like. This was a tough game until like the 75th minute.

I need this half 10, Raumdeuter bullshit to die for next season. I’m not watching another season of this nonsense behind the striker that just doesn’t work with this group of players unless it’s given heavy investment and if we start to address it with players then we are just forcing the next manager to play this dopey offensive system

We scored three times, we got three points but it feels like a Arbeitssieg.
Good result, bad performances. When I say that the BL isn’t as good as it was before people downvote me to oblivion. A better team would SURELY score in that first half. And the same could’ve been said for multiple games where we won (sometimes by good amount of goals) but wouldn’t against better oposition. Just mediocre.
One goal by setpieces, 1 outside of the box shot and 1 by the defender fucking up big time (although good work by Jobe). God, how much I miss Dortmund Tuchel’s or Favre’s first two seasons. Last time I consistently smiled at our games.

first half was really problematic, second half started poor but got better.
Silva needed someone in the offensive for a 1-2 pass combination but Chuku wasn’t really there mentally and Beier had his usual offgame performance.
maybe Kovac needs to think about his 3 cb backline for more presence in the offensive line, cause sometimes its pretty barren.
Who would have thought that Yan would be one of the better performing players this season alongside Nico, Felix and Greg
Even though Silva didn’t score he still helped in the build up. Nmecha continues to impress me every time he plays. Sule still not clicking. Guirassy finally on the scoresheet is either a blessing for him regaining his world class form or it’s gonna make Kovac double down and take away Silva’s short lived minutes. Overall not too much to complain about!
Gotta give credit where its due, Kovac’s changes were on point, total control of the midfield and the 2-man up top kept bremen’s defense busy.
Sadly it seems that Carney and Beier are incompatible with each other, either one or the other was completely invisible for long stretches.

i feel a little bad for silva because i believe if this guy gets his flat passes into good positions (he makes the right runs) he could be deadly for us. he is clearly working a lot but all the moments he shines for us, he has to work super hard to get there.
Wish that the Bellingham press and block counted as an assist. Really great work there from him. Should really have gotten most of the credit there. Happy for Guirassy aswell maybe a little confidence boost for him.
I’m utterly frustrated by this fan base ( on Reddit ) we draw – complain , we lose – complain, we win – complain. Not the most spectacular match but overall the boys put in a shift. Clean sheet, Silva got well deserved minutes & showed why he deserves even more , An out of form striker got a gift to boost his confidence , Couto worked his tail off … WE FINALLY SCORES FROM A SET PIECE !! 7/10 for me !
A 3:0 win is a 3:0 win, although undeniably against a better team we might have suffered badly.
Silva once again proving that he deserves to start – so composed on the ball, so timely with his decisions to pass on the break, so difficult for defenders to claw the ball off him. I love this dude.
Beier once again proving that he does not deserve to start – seriously, of all of the touches and situations he had on the ball this match, I dare someone to point me at like 2 where he actually did something positive. Just an absolute black hole for our possession.
Chukwuemeka with a disasterclass, but I still wouldn’t entirely give up on the idea of him starting purely for a lack of better options: Brandt, Adeyemi and Beier all currently suck, and all have received a lot of time (something that Chukwuemeka hasn’t).
Nmecha and Sabi combining for our second goal, but a largely unconvincing performance from the two of them in my opinion. Their sloppy passing and inadequate pressing resulted in lots of imbalance and our attack not being fed enough.
The defence was not bad aside of Sule, and somehow Can ended up being solid too?? Bellingham doing well, pressing fresh to result in our third goal – and Guirassy scoring is hopefully an omen of good things to come. 😀
And all in all, we did end up playing good football at times, even though things could be better. One can only complain so much about a 3:0 win.
We really need Kobel to stay another season because Ramaj is not ready at all. Still very error prone. Or if he does leave, we need another first team keeper and keep Ramaj on loan
That’s 6 clean sheets from our first 8 home games – a league record in the first half of the season.
For all of the negativity, after how terrible we were at defense last year it’s a very nice improvement.
