A memorable introduction for debutant Roy Aitken, with United recovering from a 4-2 deficit to take all the points.

Tommy Wright (not that one) put the Foxes ahead before Mark McGhee’s header was adjudged to have crossed the line, Martin Hodge then saving John Anderson’s penalty.

Further City goals by Steve Walsh, Gary McAllister and on-loan Kevin Campbell appeared to have won it, but substitute John Gallacher began the fightback 13 minutes from time.

A typical Mick Quinn finish levelled it before McGhee’s trademark turn on the edge of the box and crisp shot at the Gallowgate end completed a remarkable revival.(nufc.com)
