100%. I get the criticism of him coming in as a Huijsen replacement which was a comical transfer. But signing Kelly for €18 million has been a steal. I don’t know any other defender around that price that starts for us. Last season he was weak, but I genuinely think he’s been consistent all season. All credit to him.

I think we have always turned alright defenders to world class defenders. Prime example is Bonucci who made god knows how many mistakes in the beginning
