Walker was finished, Mahrez was finished, Bernardo only can play false nine. We need Paqueta for Bernardo replacement and a left-back to replace Cancelo because I think Cancelo will be better in RB. We need Sergio Gomez to link up with Haaland with his incredible crossing. And of course we need a centre-back too. I think Gvardiol or Pau Torres will be suit with Man City playstyle because Ake was good but he's too afraid to pass or escape from pressing. Then for Mahrez I think Alvarez can do better than him if we put Haaland in the line up.
Role of defenders is to defend. If RB and LB can’t defend what’s the point of their role. We will play quality teams at UCL, our midfielders and attackers should create more chances.

This a very poor from City. A week before the season starts and we're fluffing around looking for LB's on the cheap. We're trying to win the CL and need to beat Real, Barca, etc. There is no way they would f*ck around like this. We should have had a plan in place months ago listing our options and done deals weeks ago. Signing some 'maybe' from Anderlecht is not going to help us win the CL. I hate to say this, but I can't see City finishing in the EPL top two this season.
I think it makes no sense to get gvardiol. We already have like 4 center backs who make first team at teams like Chelsea. Why would we want another cb ffs!!!

i just realized, why dias was better at lcb, and in the 20/21 season we conceded so little goals. dias, our best defensive cb, being on the left covered for the poor defencive abilities of zina and cancelo. Last season, laporte, who isnt nessisarly the most consistent, made the left side quite a bit weaker. Thats why stones +dias is the best paring, even tho laporte is better than stones ON PAPER
I think Foden is really overrated. For me, he needs to step up a level or 2.
