Ffs go and look at previous World Cup winners since it’s inception. You do not win with a team full of rookie players. It’s too late. It’s why Maguire should and will go to the World Cup. Why sterling will start. How can you comment on football for a living and not see this.

Picking a team based on favourites is not "management"

The thing with maddison he don't sound like your typical footballer and he has been singled out for a couple of incidents outside of football that's no worse than some other players have done.southgate should remember he played with a maverick in gazza and I'm not saying madders is close to him but his stats are always good and he's willing to try different things but Southgate don't like players who can think for themselves.
