  1. This is where I think Klopp made a good move to distance himself from Liverpool and Dortmund . There were inevitable comparisons to his tenure when it comes to Slot but you don’t have a legendary figure looming over you in the stadium itself.

I think the same with Pep and Barcelona.

  2. Accuses? Absolutely true.

Was hilarious to see sturridge doing his best to keep it in while Keane called the best thing to happen to utd a bad smell lol

  3. Ah yeah bc he’s the one influencing all the back room staff and spinning the revolving door of managers.

  4. not Sir Alex’s fault the board and organization won’t put together the club. It seems quite obvious that Sir Alex is the last manager at UTD to be a true Manager, rather than a coach.

    edit some spelling mistakes.

I’ve said for years he is like the ghost of Christmas past…always there and whenever any bad happens, the cameras cut to him glaring on from the stands..

I mean he is spot on, what other clubs have ex managers knocking about acting like the godfather when one of their ex players needs his blessing to be a manager. I love Sir Alex but he needs to distance himself from this mess and not just loom in the background getting paid for his name to be knocking about.

  7. But Ferguson just goes to the games. Thats it. Is that not ok? He has no say in anything.

There’s clearly a problem that Keane has identified…but like many others, they attack the messenger with some siege mentality that means the same mistakes repeat.

There’s a team that pick a manager and sign the players (often players the manager doesn’t want) and then 12 months later, they sack the manager and repeat. At what point is it NOT the manager’s fault but the person hiring them?

Bunch of nonsense. United are in the position they are in now because of chronic mismanagement. Fergie has every right in the world to continue to support the club as he sees fit

  10. Lol oh please. Yeah, a 90 year old man sitting in the stands is what’s holding back United. Give me a break, Roy.

This is a lazy point and just stupid. Blaming an old man for 13 years of failure is silly, hire good managers and players and this isn’t an issue. Fergie doesn’t even have a job at United so Roy just comes across bitter.

  12. How do you even rationalize getting upset about someone attending football matches? There’s sometimes Keane’s opinions just make him look like a right miserable dick.

Jesus Christ, I say this as a big fan of his but why can’t Roy Keane think sometimes before he opens his mouth? Such a bad take

  14. Still got a fond memory of Sir Matt Busby applauding from the stand with tears in his eyes when Utd eventually won their first title under SAF. At the time it was a similar scenario to Utd now, albeit 26 years and a relegation between titles.

  15. It’s the same generation of players that lingers, insisting on what United is all about.

The club isn’t what it was and it never will be. Imagine if Arsenal were insisting on being exactly what Wenger’s Arsenal were.

The club isn’t what it was nor should it be. Time to evolve.

  16. Much as I loved Keano as a player. One of my all time favourites. It is him that is hanging around like a bad smell. Pissing in from the outside when his own managerial career is hardly spectacular.

He’s right. I thought it was pathetic when Fletch said he runs every major decision by Fergie. Like, why? Wish these ex-players would stop sucking the old legends’ cock

  18. Frequent_Help2133 on

He’s not too wrong. From solskjaer not parking in thr managers spot, to fletcher seeking his blessings.

Not to forget that he supported the glazers purchase due to an argument over a bloody horse of all things
