I mean it’s the obvious truth at this point. There’s no way back to the summit unless City and Arsenal each share cataclysmic months long runs. Not very likely. I think they’ll ultimately pip Villa to 3rd, though.
It would seem that despite the incredible improvement Liverpool have shown since 2018, they still haven’t learned how to even half-credibly attempt a title defence.
