Everton were held to a 1-1 draw by Wolves in a contest where the Blues controversially ended with nine men at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Things started well for David Moyes’ side as Michael Keane netted the opener on 17 minutes, expertly diverting home from close-range after the visitors failed to clear a free-kick.

Mateus Manรฉ, who notched his first professional goal in the visitors’ 3-0 win over West Ham during the visitors’ last outing, levelled proceedings with a confident finish midway through the second half.

Everton were reduced to 10 men with eight minutes remaining when, after a lengthy VAR review, Keane was adjudged to have committed “an act of violent conduct” after touching the hair of Tolu Arokodare as the pair competed in an aerial duel.

Those frustrations were compounded when Jack Grealish was dismissed minutes later for a second bookable offence.

  1. Great save from Jordan Pickford + goal from Michael Keane + Red Card from Jack Grealish and Michael Keane.

After defeat Everton FC shared points (draw) against Wolves at Hill Dickinson stadium
    score by 1-1.

  2. Keynes sending off was harsh. He naturally always pulls on the players shirt whilst going up for a defensive header. He looks like he's gone to pull his shirt but got hold of his hair. Absoloute childish behaviour from grealish. Instead of doing something to win the game he j7st had a to at the ref for the rest of the time he was on the pitch.5he refs made his decision as poor as it was, there's nothing you can do about it. Instead of moaning show what your about and be a match winner. Sidenote: how is it when Calvert-lewin was with us he struggled for fitness for 3 years. Leaves on a free and is fit every game for Leeds and has scored 8 in 9. Baffling

  3. Can someone ask Moyes why it takes so long to do a substitution? Could see it coming a mile off.

And what has Dibling done so wrong btw? It's ridiculous that he isn't getting any minutes. Especially when it's McNeil playing ahead of him and not Ndiaye.

I'm not calling for the managers head like some people might. But my word he's frustrating at times.

  4. Yet more cheating by the corrupt officials in English football. How was that Wolves lad not given a red for the assault on Armstrong! ๐Ÿคฌ

  5. Keane's 'hair pull" was a bookable offence but NEVER a sending off offence!!! No argument from the Jack Grealish sending off…….you can't sarcastically clap a bad decision and not expect a booking.

  6. What in the god's good name were those fouls? Why the fuck would Keane pull that lad's hair? And a proper brainfade moment from Grealish, especially after being booked already. Embarassing all around

  7. Everton got two red cards, fair enough, but how Chan stayed on the pitch after he dug his studs into the back of Armstrongs leg half way up and was nowhere near the ball is beyond me.

  8. Fuckin pathetic performance a total shotshow bullied in our own back yard clueless moyes makes changes with 12 minutes t go sck of moyes doing fuck alm till uts to late we are a total fuckin shitshow got a poit against relegated wolves total shitshow
