      Would make a much bigger impact than Semenyo as their real issues lie in defence, as well as not replacing KDB’s control in midfield.

      Semenyo is a great addition to have and would improve most teams, but it’s not a needle mover vs Arsenal. A CB like Guehi and perhaps a midfielder would be.

      I still don’t think (and hope) it would be enough this season, but it would certainly make me a little more concerned, that’s for sure.

      I really think that even if Arsenal don’t technically need Guehi, they should try and sign him just to stop City getting him. Would be a nice backup at CB and can play LB too

      Would be a crazy loss for Liverpool and a massive swoop for City. Is an actual material improvement to that part of the pitch in a way Semenyo is not.

      Feel like Guehi should wait it out though. You have Liverpool, City, Bayern, Madrid all reportedly interested in scooping you for a free. Much more to gain personally by waiting 6 months with a fat signing fee.

      I saw this happening from a mile away, even if Gvardiol didn’t get injured, once Liverpool’s season started to slip it was obvious he would likely look for somewhere more ‘stable’ on top of the possibility of winning the title this season

      Pep has to sign top teir defender, ruben diaz is the only one i felt has been top teir over years and consistent.guehi might be the answer.
      Its really baffling that he spent so much money on defenders and hardly found a stable defense.

      And City bought since January last year: Khusanov, Nico, Marmoush, Trafford, Donnarumma, Cherki, Ait Nouri, Reijnders. And coming Semenyo!

      It’s ridiculous!

      Not counting the young talents bought during the time.
      I don’t know how fair play roles apply and how a 115 charges still hanging unresolved for over 2 years now?!

      Didn’t take the EPL long to punish Everton with points deduction!
