Pains me that he never recovered his form with us post injury only to go on to have a season akin to JSL’s last year, and a better one than him this year for Fulham.
We could’ve potentially saved ourselves £26m there. And a lot of arguments. A far more complete player, even at this stage of his career.
He only had a short stay, but a very impactful one and you could tell he loved playing for the club, unlike most in the team today. Thanks for everything Raul!
