  1. the telly didn’t work, sadly.

but still – arias scoring, hwang scoring AND assisting?! and mané scoring his first goal.

we have to keep him [and krejči] if possible, he can’t end up like dibling with southampton.

Absolutely take that and of course the one game I can’t go to they win brilliant

  3. Nuno got Nuno’d  38% possession, and 8 shots on goal to none from West Ham.

Huge credit to Rob Edwards, he broke up the Andre/Joao Gomes midfield, introduced Mane, and got an attack going with the players we had, he has truly introduced some new ideas that have helped turn a corner.

  4. Ending the losing streak before 2025 was over was huge for the team’s mentality if today is anything to go off of. They looked like an entirely different team

We lose every week, we lose every weeeeeeeeek! How shit must you be? We lose every week!!!!

I cannot wait to watch Match of the day this week. First time I have looked forward to it all season!!!

  6. Team has been looking better and better each game starting with Liverpool. Probably due to Edward’s, hope this continue on and give us a good remaining season in the prem.

    Let’s go Wolves 🐺!!!!

  7. Wow. Congratulations from Villa fan. Do westham and forest need to start worrying?!?!!!

  8. Mane aside, I just want to credit Edwards for implementing 3 key ideas that I think will be tested in the coming weeks:

    1. Putting 2 playmakers alongside a single CM (JGomes/Andre). Risky and it makes us extremely lightweight in terms of tackling, but very lethal when we break forward. Mane and Arias do the job extremely well but there were bits in the second half where the outside centerbacks had to do some covering when runners like Soucek got in behind them.

    2. The left-sided triangle of Hugo-Mane-Hwang. That LWB-LCM-LF matchup I don’t think I’ve ever seen because Mane is a 10 shoehorned into a CM (usually what Bellegarde does) but their attacking play down the left in the first half was unpredictable as it was brilliant. The runs by the three of them down that same touchline dovetailed too well.

    3. Playing Tolu and Hwang as a big-small duo instead of JSL as a poacher alone. It showed signs against Man United already and I’m glad we stuck to it here because Tolu on the right as a narrow CF allows Tchatchoua to bomb forward when Arias drifts across. The combination is a lot more direct on the right, but it is much better than any right-sided winger we can field whether an undersized Hwang, an awkward Bellegarde or an isolated Arias earlier in the season.

Thanks for entertaining my spiel if you’ve read this far. I do football video analysis for youth players. I love Wolves. Really hope we keep winning this way.

  9. I’m confident we’ll at least beat derby’s record now. That and make it a proper relegation fight and I’m good.

I went to bed feeling knackered after work, woke up to make dinner.

Checked the score and thought I needed to wake up a second time.

What the fuck happened? When did we start kicking ass????

  11. Now beat Everton and I can truly start believing again. Take this! A real team playing a great first half and finished a clean sheet.

  12. Villa fan in peace. Congrats, genuinely hope you’ve turned your season round as first half can’t have been fun.

  13. Mane was so good. Arias also much improved. Tolu really good. It’s just nice to win again
