Can someone explain to me why Salah's goal was onside, but Jimenez's today was offside? I thought that the defender trying to cut the ball out magically made the striker onside now?

What I don't get is that Raul Goal. The ball came off the West Ham Defender and to Raul. Exactly the same fashion as the Mo Salah Goal in the FA cup match.
