Pau Torres and Jurrien Timber are both targetted by Erik Ten Hag as he tries to revive Manchester United. A fee of around 42 M pounds has been agreed between Manchester United and Villareal for Pau Torres, while his representatives flew to England to negotiate personal terms.
If all parties can agree on a transfer then Pau Torres and Jurrien Timber could be unveiled next week.
One of the weakness areas identified by Erik Ten Hag is the defense with neither Lindelof, Varanne nor Maguire convincing this season, so Manchester United have moved swiftly to sign two of the best defenders in world football currently.

Great video once again. I always believed that even if United get Jurrien Timber they need another centre back because with Eric Bailly and Phil Jones up for sale, United will only have three senior centre backs and that's setting aside what Ten Hag plans for Tuanzebe and Teden Mengi. The issue some of my friends have with Torres is that he is too similar to Victor Lindelof, but since his ball progressing abilities are gonna be needed by Ten Hag alongside Varane, why not. Timber can be the primary right back while Dalot is being coached into being a proper full back while Pau Torres is gonna be guaranteed starter since he is eager to join and Varane's fitness issues means he can slot in easily , which is what United need. Players who wanna come here to play and win. Aside from that with the free departures of Pogba, Lingard, Cavani, Lee Grant , Matic and Mata along with the sales of Bailly, Wan-Bissaka, Phil Jones and Telles that's a lot of money generated. I don't think United should sell Henderson because De Gea may not suit United's style under Ten Hag due to his average shot distribution, but if Newcastle are giving money then take it. They can always get a goalie next summer.

Really difficult seeing both come but one or the other would be great for Utd.
