The full quote
“It goes beyond football; it’s a matter of everyday life. Too often, we judge people before really knowing them, and we hurt them"
“The line between right and wrong is very thin, but Newcastle fans never cross it. They see, they understand, and they think; they don’t judge. Their behaviour has taught me not to judge. Everyone can make mistakes, but that doesn’t mean everyone has the right to judge. I will always acknowledge this credit to Newcastle fans. If today I think this way, it’s because they did the same with me.”

I mean, Sandcastle judging someone would be a bit rich, considering the war ceiling the owners have been up to.

Come on, man. Betting on football, especially matches involving your own club, isn’t some nebulous gray area. You shouldn’t be talking about judgement, you should be talking about forgiveness and second chances.
Isak would probably like a word …
The Premier League, FA, and EFL are a fucking disgrace when it comes to addressing betting issues amongst footballers.
They enable and punish.
>Newcastle fans have taught me not to judge
Clearly, given their owners should absolutely be judged…
Yes, the line between right and wrong can be thin, but it wasn’t thin in his case. He just made a very dumb decision, one that was definitely wrong and he knows it.
Rumour has it he’s still betting on the mags to get beat every week. He’s made an absolute fortune.
Nah you done fcked up and it wasn’t like a small oh oops kinda mistake either…
I completely forgot this man was banned for pretty much a full season
His punishment was pretty light
