This season: 15 games, 3 goals, 1 assist, hardly pulling up trees. This might be his best form for Man U but still not a patch on how well he played for Chelsea.
He's got 9 goal contributions for Man U in 62 games, a little better than 1 in 7. For Chelsea, he managed 70 in 195, better than a 1 in 3 record.
Never in doubt that he's a nice lad, good professional and quite talented footballer. However, for me the jury is out as to his credentials as a top player at United. He needs to do a lot more to be worthy of the number 7 shirt he's been wearing. Let's hope he continues to show improvement but not measure him against the very poor recent standards.
