  1. I read that and I'm like, "why? Why just toss this into the ether?"

As a Barça fan, he has brought a different skill set to the team we haven't had on the left in a while. But I also think he holds on to the ball a tad too long.

That said, pressure is how you perceive it. There's no negative nor positive pressure.

Is the pressure to carry a team negative? Is pressure to overcome challenges negative?

Also, I find it weird when players on loan say things that could be interpreted as desparaging to their parent clubs.

Like bruh, you're on loan. You still might have to go back at the end of the season. Chill.

  2. Marcus is cutting all ties with United at this point, burning every bridge there is with them

As a Barca fan I dont care what he says as long as he performs for my team and so far he has been superb

He knows his role well as a rotational player, super intelligent, great striker of the ball, great teamplayer, no issues at all

  3. Thats just pure Rubbish, how did you expect Rasford to proform at high level for club that has been at it worst for the last 10 years. Rasford is no longer there that they still a mid table club, stop blaming the player start blaming the management.

  4. Rashford is everything you want in a player freed from undue expectations from an unrealistic fanbase. He contributes to goals and is unselfish when in possession; watch his eyes as he gets the ball. He’s looking to see the best opportunity for goal even if it means he’s not getting the credit. He’s what Barca needs. Barca just needs some support on defense and they’ll be competitive again. ESPN keeps drudging drama as old as their commentators.

  5. you guys don't seem to understand mental pressure. there is such thing as negative pressure, where it is fear of failure, where you get negativity from everyone else around for failing. and there is 'good pressure' where it is more of a positive motivation to improve yourself to be better than the rest of the guys on the team. in the first case, often you feel like you are carrying the failure of the rest of the team where if the team fails, it's YOUR fault. it's fingerpointing and finding blame. this happens when the team as a whole is doing badly. at barcelona, EVERYONE is good and everyone is expected to everyone knows the entire squad shoulders the weight of team, not just the starters and definitely not just one or two scapegoats. and if you don't do well, they'll just put you on the sidelines and concentrate on playing their own game instead of just pointing fingers that those who can't make the grade. and more importantly, the team is doing great! everyone is positive and everyone is motivated (or putting pressure on themselves) to be better themselves so that they can show that they can are just as good as the rest and are contributing to the success.

  6. How come these analysts missed it. Rashford is talking about the atmosphere of the clubs. In Barca, they set standard and targets, and every get in the flow. It's easy for any player to flow. In Man U. there is no such thing. Everything that galvanised a player to winning mentality is zero from the board to the coaching staff and to the players. Let's admit. The atmosphere in ManU is a sham, and it can never get the club to winning ways anymore until a coach like Flick will become their coach.

  7. Stevie really in the Holiday spirit of trampling on a player who found some happiness. Man U was an absolute dumpster fire where NO ONE was going to succeed. Don't hate the player. Get real.

  8. Stevie Nicholas is a clown if ur in a toxic environment how can u be at your best rashford ain't the only one who had an issue with Manchester united environment look at Anthony and his progress is he playing with top tier players 🤔

  9. Rashford is a spoilt brat. He’s basically that he wants to be the pressure of being the favorite. Well, that has to be earned. The pressure on Barcelona is that finishing below 2nd is a sackable offense. But it’s not too bad given that there are only two top teams in Spain. Rashford doesn’t want to deal with lifting Man Utd up.

  10. When Stevie talked about mentality, I just thought of Harry Kane. He played for a team for so many years, not winning anything, but the effort he put in shows the real mentality of a top player. I just wish England wins the World Cup or the next Euro just because Harry Kane deserves it, not otherwise.
