Funny thing about Christensen. Conte called him the future of CFC, Lampard found little use for him, preferred Kurt, Tuchel chooses him regularly. Up and down, same story at national level where it's taken him years to get the chance. Just too calm, too collected for some folks, I guess…

Andreas Christensen a season ago was being underused by Lampard and literally was being criticised back then for small mistakes and that. Since Tuchel came in – he has improved everyone in the Chelsea squad, Christensen included. He was Denmark's best player at the Euros and has already won the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Super Cup in the past few months.
His solidity and his defending has improved dramatically and he is undroppable right now in the a Chelsea team. Criminally underrated and never given enough praise for his work.
