    He was doing fine at Utd tbf. But it’s clear some have absolutely thrived elsewhere

  2. Is the balance of argument more that:

    * ManU players tend to be good quality

    * ManU team system never really worked for reasons around ManU itself? eg multiple players and managers have all failed.

    Hence when some of the good players go elsewhere into teams which are set up well they thrive?

    Leaving for a club with better structure and better managers would obviously make a big difference.

    So, shouldn’t United help inspire confidence in their players? If a consistent number of your players lack confidence, maybe it’s the club at fault?

  5. The pressure the united players go through is also alot more. You have all these pundits constantly sniping along with massive social media trolling

  6. They are playing at a lower level and perhaps feel a touch more relaxed because they can’t understand what anyone is saying, that’s it.

    Wait until the Italian ultras start kidnapping their dog. Then we’ll see how they play.
