Mikel Arteta recently warned Arsenal are in a “dangerous circle” of injuries that could derail the title push. And what does he say is the problem? That the squad “doesn’t train at all.” Right. Meanwhile, Arsenal play at an intense pace every game, with minimal rotation, overloading players like Rice and Ben White. White, who was mishandled last season and never fully recovered, has just been injured again after playing three games in a single week because Arteta refused to rotate him with Skelly.
This isn’t unlucky — it’s predictable. Arteta keeps pushing his squad hard, ignores proper recovery, and then pretends the problem is bad luck or lack of training. Classic preemptive excuses if the title push fails.
It’s one thing to deal with injuries, it’s another to create them yourself and spin a narrative to avoid accountability. At what point does “trust the process” stop being patience and start being denial?

It may be possible that it was an exaggeration to say that they don’t train at all.
I’m sure this person knows more than the many paid medical staff in the club..
Crazy to complain about injuries with that squad depth. He has 3 players on the bench for every position if they have injuries.
Mikey already laying the groundwork.
It’s almost like all top teams competing on multiple fronts are in the same boat and that’s part of the game.
I’m sure Reddit will act very rationally to this bogstandard statement by a manager
Gotta seed the ground early with stories like this so he has an established excuse for when they bottle it.
This guy already busting out excuses in case the title push fails again this year. He will never take accountability, he has had the squad to win the league and or the cups in the last three years but his refusal to actually rotate has caused them to not win. Injuries are always going to happen no matter what, but you as a manager need to mitigate the risk by making sure your players are rested as possible
The excuses are starting early this year.
Bull crap. They’ve made loads of signings
Nothing like week old ‘news‘ on Reddit
Idk how many injuries but man for man they have the deepest squad this season. Multiple fullback/centerback guys, wingers who can play left or right. Midfielders with attacking and defending presence. Shame if they blow it. This is the year to catch city or Liverpool while they’re in transitional years.
Time to buy more players then or what? The physio team are the ones that need to fix up.
