Very true.. Gyokeres is always doubled up and always never given breathing space by the defenders. I just love his mentality and hard work.!

Gyokeres needs to be fed long balls…. Let’s play to his strengths
As an opposing fan I’m more scared of havertz technically better faster more powerful, yeah he may miss a fair few but the fact he gets into those positions is the thing 😊

So in short your praising Gyokeres for occupying defenders and not scoring goals.
Gyokeres when he does get the ball is losing it, losing the duels, unable to hold the ball up, link play or dribble well into spaces.
Gyokeres entire game in Portugal was his channel running & being able to drive towards goal with ball at his feet, it was never wrestling with defenders.
However were praising him for wrestling defenders rather then do his job of putting the ball in the net.
Gyokeres isn't even getting on the end of crosses in the box, his movement has underwhelmed off the ball.
Fans biggest complain of Kai Havertz was he's at times not on the end of chances when crosses are put in or he's wasteful in the box.
Gyokeres has been worse at both while being unable to get his feet sorted to get shots away.
I said we should never of signed gyokeres what a load of rubbish only reason he scored so many past 2 seasons was league he playing in before, should have signed sesko I always said that and bet it ends up right sesko will have a better season not as club but as players compared
