There’s no justification for this, he’s awful and it worries me that anyone can watch Souttar this year and come to the conclusion that we need more of him moving forward.

Known quantity that counts for the homegrown rule in Europe. Everyone can see the squad needs gutted and that ultimately he’s probably not good enough, but be realistic. The club can’t and won’t replace 10 starters in one window. Souttar is by far the least of the squads troubles.
Anyone you got in to replace him of similar quality would cost millions, demand similar wages and wouldn’t provide the home grown benefit for Europe
