Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe spoke to the media ahead of the huge game with Chelsea tomorrow night in the Premier League.
The main topic of conversation was of course the call ups to the England World Cup squad but also an update on Callum Wilson and if he will be available for the game tomorrow after an illness.

I wouldn't be too upset. It would be a tragedy for Callum if he got injured tomorrow. Thinking of wor lad and what it means to him.Couldn't give a toss about Southland in general

I believe wilson will probably play if not still enough power to beat chelsea and great he has been picked for england, I would of liked dan get chosen instead of mcguire who has had an abysmal season

Honestly, I will never for the life of me understand why Burn doesn't get the credit he deserves. He has been nothing short than outstanding and is a much better defender than a couple of choices Southgate has made.
Doesn't look like Sven made the Dutch team, which I can't get my head around. What does he have to do.
My concern is Wilson picking up a long term injury in the England camp , but fingers crossed he'll be fine, be nice if he can grab a couple tomorrow, ⚫⚪

So happy for Callum he deserves the callup. Eddie Howe Manager of the month, Miggy player of the month. What a turn around for the club in the last year. Who won goal of the month? Should be Miggy as it was a cracker.
Hmm, is he being protected for England? Sound sus to me. I don't like it if that is the case, since Newcastle pay his wages and his club should come first imo, but maybe it's genuine. I just hope he can play and if he cannot then I hope we don't miss him against Chelsea.

Hope Wilson plays tomorrow, we really need him. Chelsea are in poor form but they are still a very good side.
Can't wait for the kick off, first time hopefully the game is on NBC and we get exposure across the USA, long time since had the pleasure of watching the toon live. A few years ago we had games on the canadian sport chanels but the prem went to streaming, not availlable in the wilds, but in those days we'd go a goal down and it was over, now watch to the end and cellebrate, hwtl.

Wilson can play 40-50 minutes and score goals, after that Jacob Murphy replaces out, so you don't get injured, don't hold the ball for too long, so you don't get tackled by opponents who make injuries
Regardless whether Wilson plays or not I'm sure the lads will be eager to go into the WC break on the back of a great performance and result against Chelsea tommorow tea time to round off what has been a great start to the PL season. HWTL! 👍⚫⚪
As a Chelsea fan, I can only see a Newcastle victory tomorrow. We have an overrated English manager, while Newcastle have a brilliant English manager.
I expect Wilson to play..
It has to be remembered that Isak went to play for his country and come back with a very long sick note.
