Spanish football expert Alvaro Montero joined Sky Sports News to discuss how Gareth Bale will be remembered by Real Madrid supporters following his retirement from football.
Bale has described the decision to quit international football as “by far the hardest of my career”.

He will be remembered as good but not great because he could have stepped up when CR7 left and scored 40-50 goals a year. He scored a few big goals. BUT His lack of commitment caused him to not achieve all he could be as a Real Madrid player.
As a Real Madrid fan I love him and his impact on the club. He scored in multiple finals and other important matches, he was an exciting and important player! Only bad thing is his fallout with the management and the local Bernabeu fans.
