Portugal will come second in their group behind Germany. They'll then knock out Belgium in the second round but will be knocked out in the quarter-finals by Argentina.
Usa beates Portugal in 2002 . And back then Portugal was ranked 3rd best in the world. And had a better squad..

Truly this is the hardest group. Germany the best European team, USA the strongest Concacaf Team, Ghana the strongest African Team, and Portugal of Christiano Ronaldo. You blink once and you are out.
To be honest USA is in trouble in this group. Unless Landon Donovan and Josy Altidor show up to play the USA have their work cut out.
I just don't understand why most USA fans think the USA will beat portugal. Talent wise there aren't even close. This is not basketball guys, wake up. Look at Sweden with Ibra and a good team, they got demolished by Ronaldo. That guy is deadly. The only chance USA may have is try to catch Ghana on their bad day but it will be difficult because Ghaneans are hard working players, they are the only team in Africa in this world come who will not play defence only but will attack like any other good team. So these blind USA fans making a lot of noise they have to watch out, this world cup might be an embarrassement I tell you.
