      That’s a bad or incomplete analogy. If simeone benched their son, your right I don’t think they would confronted him. But the moment Simeone publicly trashed their son, I think they would of confronted. Maybe not have this high school drama, but definitely behind close doors.

      First, the Berhalter's have reconciled and left the issue in the past. We should do the same. Second, Ernie Stewart completely mishandled the issue AND should be fired. Once raised by mom Reyna, Ernie should have held a meeting between the two couples and cleared the air with a professional mediator and investigator in the the room. Third, USSF should cut all ties with the Reyna parents and the Berhalters. Banned from all USSF events and USSF jobs. Fourth, Gio should be sit out all USMNT events until 2024. There should be consequences for this type behavior.

      Personally I think it was calculated to disclose when she spoke to Ernie. “Oooh oops I thought I was that was off the record” sorry I can see that manipulation and timing of that disclosure.

      4:40 is December 11th after or before elimination?.. the statement didn't say immediately after.
      You have to understand the semantics of reporting it just means that this is coming from berhalter/ US soccer camp because of the way it's phrased

      Claudio Reyna is the reason the US got eliminated from a WC with his terrible play & should forever apologize to the American public for his fuck up… The Reynas are just rich, entitled parents that can't handle that their kid is a little spoiled bitch! This exemplifies why the USA will never win a World Cup — it's run by suburban rich ppl who have no idea what talent is or takes. Gio can fucking go!! He's not better than anyone else I've ever seen play for this USMNT. He hasn't scored shit or done shit. Mommy just couldn't handle it — this is not great for Austin FC either. – lol.

      I still can't believe you stuck up for Gio in the WC man. It was OBVIOUSLY his fault and it doesn't matter if he tried to apologize; he's proved he's not a professional and neither are his parents; they are ENTITLED and no one gives a shit cuz Gio hasn't ever done anything at the WC level to prove his mommy & daddy are gonna get away w/this.

      LOL this chick had no problem when she let her son play for this guy — it's just when her spoiled brat son didn't play — she's pathetic.

      I no way condone what the Reynas did but I'm more inclined to believe their statement over Gregg's. Gregg has lied to us way to many times.

      GGG was just upset that Claudio didn't renew his son (Sebastian) loan with Austin FC. Took it out on Gio in the worst way and on a world stage. The fact that GGG was made to look bad by Gio (not lying and agreeing with GGG that he wasn't fit) & Dortmund who gave Gio a clean bill of health for the World Cup. GGG was made that he was made to look like a fool on the world stage.

      Well now we know were Gio's hissy fits and bad attitude come from. Hopefully he can grow up and be a productive member of the team. It sounds like GGG should be fired, ban the Reyna's from attending any USMNT games or events. Hire a real coach who isn't a Nepotism hire, and move on!

      It seems Berhalter's ran this USMNT like a cult. Taking votes and putting Gio Reyna's fate at the hands of other players is WRONG on so many levels. The conflict was between Gio Reyna and the Berhalter, and it is wrong to ask players to make a decision about Gio Reyna when player's own chances of playing at the world cup could be jeopardized if they disagreed with the coach. This is classic case of conflict of interest here. I think Berhalter is control freak, and wants to let everyone know he is in charge. He sure showed Gio Reyna! So much of Berhalter's player selection was not based on good footballing reasons. USMNT could have done much better with players in the player pool.
