  1. They were very lucky to stay up last season, like they conceded 79 goals! This year they have start well or else they will be dragged into another relegation battle. You can saw what you want about lucky but any team that concedes 79 goals is almost always relegated.

  2. The desperation for the success as them as individuals, by US TV is interesting.

Doesn't come across as a celebration of their dedication and ability, that you seek for it to provide validation for the MLS.

Interesting to see such partisan sports coverage.

  3. when you say "the mls angle isn't that important" you are forgetting about jack harrison. fact is, several of leeds' most important players came-up through mls.

  4. Notice there hasn’t been that many headline about United 🤣🤣 . They just don’t love to United win lol, can you imagine United had lost that game yesterday haha

  5. As I always said more American players need to be in the best league the Premier League to raise the level of the USMNT. All these Americans going to the Bundesliga was not raising their international level because the the Bundesliga is so weak. I don’t think it is coincidence the USMNT failed to qualify when most of their players were in the Bundesliga.

  6. It's one game. Great job on behalf of the Leeds players and great game prep by their coaching staff. Don Hutchison is the King of exaggeration. Tuchel was just frustrated with his team and he didn't say they were the better team. Tuchel actually said that Chelsea was better team for the first 20 minutes.

  7. I'll say this much, I've seen some great war of the rose derbys in my time(2001, Fa cup 3rd round when Beckford scored) but I'm really looking forward to this year's derby!!!!!

  8. I think Marcelo,s problem was he thought he could get any player to play anywhere at the highest level and it just wasn’t the case , not every player is Stuart Dallas.

  9. Tuchel has consistently made comments in recent months that display VERY POOR leadership. As the primary team leader, he should be taking full and total responsibility for ALL problems in public, even when his players may have made mistakes. But his constant making of excuses, criticism of his players ability, and general complaining are making for a pretty toxic atmosphere for Chelsea players. No wonder everyone looks unmotivated or that they all want out/away.

  10. Sack the yank in charge. do what you'd do if buying a car. Don't spend out on an inferior American car when you can have more reliable European cars. Now apply this to football. Stop buying yanks. Buy European.
