Everton fell to a disappointing 4-1 defeat to Newcastle United at Hill Dickinson Stadium on Saturday evening.

The Blues conceded an early lead through Malick Thiaw’s powerful header inside the opening minute. Lewis Miley’s bouncing effort slipped through the hands of Jordan Pickford on 25 minutes, doubling the advantage for the visitors.

Nick Woltemade added a third before half-time to conclude a disappointing 45 minutes from Everton. A second for Thiaw arrived just ahead of the hour mark.

A superbly-taken Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall goal was a consolation for the home side, whose result is just their second defeat at the new ground.

  1. Play KDH next to Garner and McNeil in a ten with Barry then replace Barry and McNeil with alcat/rez and Beto..(people keep think McNeil is not up too it he played best for us a ten NOT winger) Tim should be subbed on not starting

  2. Shows our Midfield is crap. Newcastle walked through us time and again with Gana in there.
Unfortunate that Rohl is injured atm but Tim isn’t anywhere close to being good enough.

  3. Will we ever win again 😢 Absolutely fucking embarrassing… even had a Stake bet on us drawing this game since newcastle have been kinda lackluster so far, but guess we just arnt good enough anymore. We are doing a disverice to Grealish by playing like this 😩 how can we expect players like him to want to join us after they see how we play this season? i just cant see it anymore…
