First, he wasn’t talking about Martinez but about saving penalties in particular. Second, Martinez is indeed a clown and what he did went beyond what the rules allow. Problem is that referees allowed Argentina to get away with way too much during this WC.
If you don't want to rely on antics, better be very good at what you do.

After winning the worldcup and saving 2 penalties, Martinez said he was bad because he couldn't save the first penalty of M3P. =)))) Hugo couldn't save at least one in the final.

As an Argentina fan, I must admit that Martinez parading with the Mbappe doll was funny but didn't make much sense. Mbappe scored against him 4 times, including 3 penalties in the same spot, none of which Martinez saved. He was France's best player on the pitch by miles, and singlehandedly made the game competitive. Out of all the French players to make a doll of, Emi picked the only one who had his number 😂

In the end Martinez won, and that's what counts. Nonetheless his behavior was unacceptable and low class, and his actions before Tchouameni took the pk should be prohibited.

Lloris has a perfect right to say what he has, but tbh if the French were smart they should have subbed Lloris for their alternate Keeper when they knew it was going to penalties.
Even Lloris said he was not good at saving them before the WC final 😂
