If all managers behaved like this then what would be the point of showing up and killing yourself in training if you know there would never be a chance of usurping the player in your position. I agree with Mark but his reasoning for picking Cunha is shite and wrong, for me let’s forget the fact Mount is injury prone and that he may not represent the future of this club
Let’s look at the actual game, away from home at Anfield where yes they’re not in their best moment but still significantly better than us, it’s gonna be a lot of counter attacking and transition football I believe Cunha is the better option for this game he’s used to playing for a team under the cosh like we’ll be during the game in moments
Mount great form shouldn’t be ignored and I’m not against starting him either but if I had to pick it’d be Cunha for this game
Mount can continue to start until he gets the next injury. Why change if he is playing well.
