Luis Enrique was asked about the level of English clubs and whether they are currently a step ahead of the rest of Europe:

“Obviously, the English teams have a very high level. But this is a competition [Champions League] that still has a long way to go. We’ll see in February-March which teams are currently struggling and can recover, or which teams are doing well but won’t be at that level anymore.

“It’s clear that there’s a team like Arsenal, who are currently first in both competitions, and who practically concede no goals and is at a very high level, but the Champions League involves different situations and we’ll have to wait.” πŸ“ˆ

  1. I liked Luis Enrique but recently the success has gone through his head and he's become very arrogant. It doesn't suit him to talk like this and mention Arsenal when we have no business together so far.
Hope we meet him with a fully fit squad this time.

  2. It's true…… As Enrique said in future anything can happen. Like last season we lost to PSG due to injuries to key players. The same thing can happen this season also. So there is no point in gaslighting certain clubs just because they secured more points. Knock out phase is entirely different.

  3. "Wait until feb/march when we're 40points ahead in our farmers league and the english teams are still competing until april" psg are a fraud of a club πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  4. You'll all recall that PSG looked a very average team when we beat them at home in the group stage last season. Then roll forward to the knockout stages and it's like they were a different team. Let's enjoy the moment as Arsenal fans but not get too far ahead of ourselves. Nothing is won at this stage of the season.

  5. Here we go again Arsenal, Arsenal, Arsenal. Does every football video need to be about Arsenal. If they win the CL at the end of the season and I think they can, then let's talk but for now let's just talk about the teams playing. They are probably the best team right now but I don't want to keep hearing about it over and over.

Why does no one talk about my team Madrid, we won 15 CL and no one talks about us.

  6. What he’s trying to say is β€œthe premier league is very tough. By February and march those teams have gone through wars and are battered. I play in a cupcake league so my team will be fresh. In that situation I favor us in the knockout stages”

  7. Just 1/3 of the season gone so far.

Wait till atleast 1/2 the season and we'll see where we (Arsenal) are.

Chelsea, Brentford, Villa in 6 days is going to take a toll.

  8. You can't really ask him this because last season and the game the other day Vs spurs they have successfully got rid of England's finest the competition had to offer from who qualified

  9. It doesn't matter how well a team is doing at the moment, on paper or have been doing all season. What matters is whether they show up during matchday, especially in a knockout competition.

  10. Liverpool were in the same position as Arsenal last season, top in both the Premier League and the Champions League. PSG barely made it in the league phase, but eventually beat Liverpool, Arsenal and went on to win the competition.

  11. Why is everyone obsessed with Arsenal?? Ask questions related to PSG.. We know all about Bundesliga and French ligue are farmers league

  12. Let's remember that PSG swept away ALL Premier League teams last season on their way to glory… STAY HUMBLE cos we've won F all so far! πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
