I saw some reports, I don’t know how reliable they are suggesting Lucho will see out his full contract but won’t intend to stay longer than 2027 and will pass the role to someone else. The reason this concerns me is because he did the same at Barca, joined in 2014, left in 2017. At psg he has all the power unlike at Barca and I don’t know why he would leave. I remember after he resigned at Spain he said he wanted to go to the premier league, maybe he wants to join city after pep and do the same he did at psg? Maybe rejoin Barca? Or maybe he just doesn’t want to put pressure on himself by saying he’d leave anyway if things don’t work out but if we win 1 or 2 more ucls he decides to stay? Like winning 3 in a row will be historic and maybe he’d feel that he won’t be able to replicate it similarly to Zidane at Madrid or it’s just the fact that he was never sacked in his career and he’d like it to stay like that like if things with psg don’t work out he’d leave by himself he won’t wait until he’s sacked even though i don’t see Nasser sacking him or Doha pushing for that since they were the ones which wanted him in the first place. I just hope he stays atleast until 2030, if the worst happens I want Xavi but I’d always be open for a Lucho return.

I really hope these are just rumours, I’ll be so disheartened if he does actually run his contract out.
I think so this is fake. Campos bought him for a long term project. 2027 is way too early for him to leave. He has imposed an excellent philosophy at psg which clearly shows signs of long term project. If he had plans of leaving, i dont think so he would be giving our academy grads so much playing time if he is about to leave in “2027” lol
