  1. Hi Craig i think your calls are good but no chance would I play Gordon in a hostile environment as he's never really turned up against Everton so for me I'd keep him on the bench.
Just feel we don't need to put more fuel on the fire.
I'd of played Ramsdale but he won't.
    Burn for Fabien 👌

  2. Eddie has to drop pope..hes cost us 4 games…rash judgements..cant catch a ball..parries when he could catch…kicking terrible…it will be the first time I ever criticise eddie if he dosent drop him

  3. Karma. It exists. Isak n Wissa. Definitely do. Unfortunately so do Newcastle. We’ve all felt it. I’m confident Newcastle will start to clicking when Wissa gets game time Keep the faith in Eddie Howe.

  4. Every single player made more mistakes than Nick Pope on Tuesday! The scrutiny is unfair.
A good manager backs good players, Nick Pope is a very good keeper.

Nick Pope to save a penalty tomorrow and NUFC to win 1-0

  5. If Howe picks Pope, Burn & Gordon on Saturday, I think the CEO will start looking at other options. If he sticks to his guns until the derby and things get no better, I think Howe will be gone. You can’t live on past success when we’re seeing repeating issues from previous seasons

  6. I absolutely loved Keegan but the day Eddie Howe picks his team due to what fans want Will be the day he walks out of this club And quite frankly I wouldn’t blame him one bit

  7. How the heck can Eddie be blamed for a rush of blood to the head by pope.Yes he could play Ramsdale but unless any of you are at training then I’ll leave it to the manager

  8. It's about time that we appointed a manager who treats players equally. Rafa Benitez is a racist and transfer listed all the black players immediately. Eddie Howe is prejudice and sacrificed all the foreigners. We've got 17 British players in the squad. Too many

  9. We need to start playing more technically, we want to be a top team, ramsdale and Ramsey need to start. Drop pope and any of the usual midfield 3, id normally say joelinton but looks like Bruno and tonali need rest so maybe one of them. I don’t think we’ll play miley in midfield as he’ll be cover for tino at RB. And lastly Gordon can’t start, he always caves under the pressure at Everton

  10. Craig, he has to drop Pope now. I appreciate that might mean the end of his days at Newcastle but his performances have directly led to a massive confidence drop in the team, with Tuesday nights error optimising that perfectly. He has to be dropped and my confidence (and that of many Newcastle fans) will drop if Howe doesn’t make the difficult decisions he needs to.

I’d punt Alanga and Barnes on the wings. Alanga needs a run in the side and we’ve seen what he can do but he needs the time in the team to form the right partnerships.

BDB left side CH alongside the formidable Thiaw who is my player of the season so far. What a signing.

Great balanced perspectives as always Craig, thank you. Enjoy your field trip to the US.

  11. Gordon should not be starting he is at best an average player look at his stats no goal contributions in over 20 games to be getting picked on what he has done in the past is madness he is a streaky layer but not consistent I would be happy if he was sold

  12. Let’s not kid ourselves Pope cannot kick, collect a cross without flapping or sweep up. These are key attributes of a keeper, it is not only about being a good shot stopper

  13. Not a disrespect to rest a player that man need a less stress night. Using the military participant over practical implantation for a moment. If you walk down a line and really look in the eyes for a vacant stare you have to go with your gut before assigning roles for a days work. Mentally or fog of war system is for the benefit of a person to rotate loads to left the underlying stress off and put the load right on another to build them up and demand more. A cycle of hard charging type A leadership wears out and players turn off the yelling and adjust and accept it or half listen. They have heard all you stick pep talks and know what you want took in a mirror and struggle to keep pressing all out. Pulling our a new trick for old war horses. Takes guts to give liberty calls when winning is everything for an owner.. Looking over your should in fear is not a good system either. Type B balances and helps Big money singings that could start for most other teams but have trouble with the system means the many of them take a year to gel.

  14. I don't think we have the depth of squad in terms of quality that allows proper rotation of the players & proper cover for injuries.
We will find it very difficult to play consistently at a high level while rotation of players, & injury replacements, weaken the team.
The only way to challenge at the top of the EPL, & play in the UCL, each season is by addressing this issue.

  15. I'd rather see Alex Murphy out there than Gordon, never mind Jacob. I think Ramsdale has earned a chance, given Pope's part in the Brentford, West Ham and Marseille games. Would love to see Ramsey and Elanga get more game time. Why spend £100m on players that are behind two Bruce era players (Murphy and Willock) in the queue for a game? Seems Eddie doesn't even like his own signings 😮

  16. Ramsdale should have played the Cup and pope lost some gravitas to be in a World Cup dropping Champions lg points? Wissa good news he can be the difference when fit to make the top 7 and a Euro run next year and finish this one in better stead. Miley converting to a good option utility man like Owen Hargreaves? We lost in a hard place to play by 1.. the match needed more midfield play to get a draw not all on pope but 60% it cost the points to disregard thaiws wave off. When Dubs lost his level when every keeper was hurt and woodman was it darlow dint settle and displace him.. its better to change early then too late.

  17. I have to disagree with you on Gordon. I thought he was awful after the first 15 minutes at marseille. Pressed well at the start then just looked like he couldn’t be bothered as per normal. He has been very poor this season. Waste of a shirt when through the middle.

  18. Its worrying how stubborn Eddie Howe is. The whole world can see whats coming before he does.

If the team news comes out tomorrow and Popes in and Dan Burns at LB, im not even going to bother watching us get tonked 2-1 away from home again. Eddie does the same things over and over and over and never learns. He’ll probably do one better & start Gordon aswell who does literally nothing now

Whats the bets we go five at the back aswell because hell will freeze over before he drops Dan Burn.

  19. He'll play Pope again

Pope will cost us atleast one goal, probably Evertons equaliser

Another Howe press conference afterwards telling the world he 'backs' Pope
