I’d take him back gladly for his sundown song with us even after his cheek of comments blowing Arse as soon as he arrived
I was miffed he didn’t rock Europa League with Moyes and the boys for one more year given he was our captain and the supporters deserved it but he stayed a year longer than we thought he would.

JWP for £30m for him was insane, he had a good first half of the season when he came in. TransMtk has his 31yo value at 8million now. Totally fucked off 1/3 of the Rice boon
Ajax bought Alvarez for £15m sold to us 2y later for £35-38m. We got 2m loan fee for him this year and he’ll probably sell for 22-30m, idk
2x player of the gold cup tournament and Mexico’s captain. 27yo similar profile to Rice, he was an excellent use of funds imo and it just didn’t work I guess. I thought we’d build a team around him tbh and he was future captain material.
£37m for Kudos and 19m profit, good business overall, exciting player but not overly upset to see him go
