  1. If it wasn’t Arsenal it would have been someone else, we had already kept him a year longer than I thought we would.

You just can’t hate the lad tbh, I still rate him so highly.

  2. Fully agreed you play Rice where he shines and you gain so much more, You can’t put a price on that along with his energy, work rate and composure and that’s scratching the surface.

He wanted to go and only wanted Arsenal. I think it can be both a bargain for them and a great price for us.

I wish he’d have stayed because I’m a West Ham fan but because I’m a West Ham fan, he was never going to hit the heights his talent deserves with us. Thank you Mr Chairman you absolute little gremlin arsehole for making sure no great player will ever stay to fulfil their talent with us (a certain Mr Bowen excluded).

I want 41 to win everything. It’s just a crying shame it has to be with those melts.

Watching our games at the start of the season with our wank midfield made me feel like a psycho ex girlfriend

He turned his back on Ireland, then he turned his back on West Ham, wouldn’t surprise me if he does the same to Arsenal

Inexcusable that we failed to properly reinvest that money. What did his sale buy us? Alvarez, Kudus, JWP 💀

We always said Noble was too good for England, then as a player Declan Rice was supposed to be our next mark noble, he was, he is, he won us a trophy, left with respect, and is still getting better and better.

He’ll probably come back to West Ham in his twilight years.

Always happy to see him score and play well, for me he’ll always have a place at West Ham.

Look how we spent the £100m I’m glad we didn’t get more we’d have at least one more useless player on high wages for a high fee

I hope Rice wins plenty but not with Arsenal with that cunt Arteta as manager.

I also don’t wanting him coming back at 33/34 if you don’t want to be here in your prime then I don’t want you here when your over the hill.

  10. Slightly annoyed, considering all the media “experts” were calling us delusional about how highly we rated Declan Rice and saying how he’s never a 100 million pound player.

I think 125 million would have been the right fee, but there was no way we were getting that. 100 mil (+5 million which looks likely) is great for us and good him.

Plus let’s be honest, he was excellent for us, but he’s even better now.

  11. Could have ended up letting him go for nothing at the end of his contract. £105m is good business.
