  1. I think they have to take this as serious as possible because I am positive you can get CTE which is like a form of brain damage from the porpoising so I don't believe it's worth ruining these drivers lives over entertainment.

  2. So basically Mercedes was like, nah we can`t be bothered to fix this.
And FIA then immediately decides to change the rules into their favor.
It is so unfair to the other teams that did everything right.
Honestly FIA should just change their name to MercFiA.
Hopefully the day will come when F1 pulls away from FIA.

  3. I agree with Horner all day! Can't see why they will change things when they (mercedes) only can increase their ride height if they can't solve their issue. its clearly not impossible as almost every other team has found a solution.

  4. As always, Toto showing they got the FIA in their pockets and punishing the people who did their job properly unlike they have.

  5. That thing of raising the edges of the floor will probably help RB be even more dominant. Since they were one of the few teams that used a high-rake concept in the past and when the sides of the floor were reduced for 2021, they gained a lot of performance. So I see them in 2023 be even faster because they have a lot of understanding on how to play with the side of the floor with big gaps in it.

  6. To everyone complaining:
In 2021 a ne rulebook was released. The last year of one generation of cars.

In this year the FIA couldn’t, as some suggest, „relax“ either. It is in their nature to react. However in 2021 no RB fan complained about an unnecessary rule change, since that was only made to slow Mercedes down.
In my opinion the rules should be changed as soon as possible, not in the very last season.

  7. Very weak of FIA to give into a single team that cannot get their house in order. It's a horrible decision and will turn F1 boring again with Mercedes winning everything.

It's sad to see how much pull one team can have, if it was Haas they wouldn't have even discussed it.

  8. All you complaining about the rules changes like if Ferrari and RB weren't being sketchy about their implementations of the rules…as always I can never be surprised by this sports fan base hypocrisy

  9. The more things change, the more they stay the same. The cream is always going to rise to the top, and the big teams are always going to find ways to go faster

  10. Red Bull have used up most of their development budget already, so if new regulations require new development what happens if the teams don't have any money (with in their cost caps) to do any changes to the cars?

  11. I mean… just read the comments. New FIA already in contempt of the majority of F1 fans. why, WHY Are you spoiling it for everybody guys, same on you.

  12. It's going to be really bad for Redbull who seems have found the solution and faster with the current regs. I'm just shocked why FIA thinking in this direction, the whole point of F1 is to push the technology as far as possible, let the team innovation do what they want to do, If one team can solve the issue why not others?

  13. wait if the floor edges are raised then doesn’t that mean the floor can be lighter? i mean the edges will probably be allowed to flex a bit more because they’re higher and therefore less likely to strike the ground, which means teams can use lighter materials and not worry about keeping the floor edges stable?
