  1. Hi, Kang-in would be very close to attacking midfielder, rather than classical winger. He has very nice pass ability, cross and through pass. I can't see a position fit for him in AV. But, the coach may know how to use him

  2. I think bailey is much better on the left . I'd like emery to give him a go on the left ..never heard of this guy .I like the look of Alex baena , young and cheap too , utv.

  3. Lee Kang-In looks to have a lot of admirers and praise for his ability. Strong progressive dribbler taking on players can only help. Plenty of solid La liga experience. Fluent Spanish speaker of course so integrating in with Emery, the Emis, coutinho, Luiz, Carlos no problem.

  4. Just had a look at him on youtube and noticed in the comment a few fans already put welcome to Villa….

Got 3 questions, 2 of them crucial!

    1. With him being left footed, is this potentially a Bailey replacement??? Surely can't have two left footed wingers in the same team???
    2. IMPORTANT: Can he use his right foot 🙂 (and not miss a Ronnie Rosenthal sitter with it)
    3. IMHO IMPORTANT: He is 1.73M tall making him about 5.7FT. Our past two home opponents in Wolves and Liverpool were much bigger team vs team in physical stature, whilst I like the look of him, wondering if there is any thought into the size of the player? We could do with a couple more of a more physically imposing.

  5. Lee Kang-in now ranks 1st in big chance making and 3rd in assists in the Laliga. I think it will be a really good signing. And he is u-20 goldenball winner!

  6. Kang in has LOT to improve, but as pointed out he is only 21 (many Koreans are furious that he basically rotted at Valencia for 2 years during one of the most important phases of a young player's developing years. The manager refused to play him). His biggest strength is awareness, tenacity, and amazing accuracy from free kicks and corners. He is prone to fouling when playing defense, and he does need to learn how to be more efficient on the ball. I hope a Prem team does pick him up – exciting potential this one.

  7. would be a good cop tbh. im not 100% sure if he's got the physique and speed for epl, but his crosses and passes are far better than most epl players

  8. I have no idea here but I am happy to hear we are linked with people I haven't heard of, the talent pool is deep globally so scouts need to be doing their jobs we don't want to be chasing has beens and premier league reserve players, hopefully this guy is good and hungry for success.

  9. OMG. Thought he's in possible talks with New Castle and Aston Villa suddenly comes in! KANG IN is such a skilled, dedicated footballer and is still very young. Really do hope that he plays in EPL this year!! His Spanish proficiency is excellent, which will certainly help his communication with the AV manager and other Spanish-speaking players. Thanks for the update.😉

  10. Luke, love the way you put an effort when calling his name “Kang””In”, very sweet! Get in, Kang In!♥️ thanks for the video! x hope to see him in Birmingham😍

  11. Don't really know much about him.But there's alot of good Asian players coming to the prem that usually suit the prem and do well.Mitoma at Brighton is a good example that lads going places. If he can turn out as good a buy as that I'll be happy.
