Saeed, your right and wrong about Burn we all know he’s not a left back but we didn’t have anyone else with Livramento out for two months.
Burn has been excellent at centre back and most Newcastle fans will tell you that, having our first choice full backs for the first time together this season is the main reason we play so much better they both have quality and speed so they can help our wingers hence why they have not performed as well this season, just watch the difference on how we play now with these two fit honestly they bring so much in both defence and attack.
So yes we need more quality at both left and right back as good as trippier has been he just doesn’t have the legs anymore but what he does bring is experience and leadership which we do need during games but not as a starter.

The big difference in this game was the two first choice full backs coming back from injury for Newcastle. This allowed them to get forward and straight into the attack. Barnes is an unsung hero and has only been a bit player this season but he was brilliant and could have had a couple more. Thiaw is a roll Royce in defence and could end up being the best centre back in the Premier league. Pleased other fans are noticing the good players Newcastle have because most TV pundits don't. 😮
