As Hugo Lloris retires from International football, the question asked is how much longer does he stay at Spurs? He’s a World Cup winner, Nations League winner, a runner up in the Euros, World Cup and a Champions League, he sports 145 caps for France… but is he over-rated?

Dida or Marcos but Dida was brilliant I'm sure was the goalie for the Brazil 2002
Lloris made up for his mistakes with world class saves for a long time. That has not been happening for 2-3 seasons though.
people always scared to voice their opinion and watch the game. they like narrative. cassilas, everyone seems to love him cause nobody really watched him week in week out. i remember the days he was letting in soft goals every game during galatico days then suddenly he won a world cup with a stacked barcelona squad and then everyone shut their mouth. people dont watch games, they saw what people say and echo it and even worse fully believe in it. if lloris played for spain and madrid everyone would say he was the best of all time. it is who you play for. how big your fanbase is.
Joe Hart doesn't get the respect he deserves 4 golden glove awards
Great keeper
I was pals with the Tottenham Hotspur Moderators on BigSoccer back In the day Boys and Germs…
…Even Married and Divorced the Everton USA Chairwoman 2009…She was a Fucking Nightmare kidz…
He was a world class keeper at one point but never with a shout of best in the world always 3-5th best max
Just inconsistent, had some brilliant performances and some terrible
Lloris didnt stop a single pen did he?? Also GKs have come through their clubs academys, where else do you think they materialise from. Its just that a good GK is a rarer commodity due to numbers applying and no versatility in that position, ie your either a GK or nothing. A midfielder has several options of a position that suits. So in summing up when a good GK prospect is at an age where he is a viable option for a first team the vultures circle and he is plucked from his parent club… Hence no homegrown GKs…… simples!
Recently best keeper in world is Real Madrid keeper. Forget his name but Chelsea messed up letting him go and replacing with Kepaπππ. And pissed me off because he just would not be beaten by a LFC striker!!!!
He like barthez. 1 win and 1 lose in finals but overall he not all that
Behave. Hes absolute pony.
Just because a team or club win some one off tourny doesnt make every player world class.
Same with Pogba. Absolute dogπ©
All this ever does is solidify the quality of the Premier League. Prime example .. Koulibaly at Chelseaβ¦ literally a FIFA23 playerβ¦
Realistically, why are pundits trying to claim that international football is the top⦠laughable
Mediocre at international level and poor at club level.
Hes a decent keeper at best. Never breached top 10 in my opinion. He had a lot of poor mistakes even on the biggest stage against Croatia.
All I can think about is his fumble against Croatia in 2018 WC final. He and De Gea are truly an enigma .
He's no Rob Green!
Decent shot stopper, massively over rated. Its harder to become a 1st choice keeper as u hardly ever get a chance but also harder to lose the 1st choice once you get the shirt.
Keeper is the position people are most reluctant to change.
hes kinda like fabien barthez
Can bee world class or loose his head
A liability. Never understood the hype. Was never top class, but he's done well for himself
Definitely in the bottom 5 Prem Keepers
Probably rated fairly. Decent keeper but never world class in all honesty. Has too many mistakes in his game to be considered a top, top keeper.
Alisson has NOT made lots of errors for Liverpool. Don't confuse him with our now 3rd choice keeper Adrian, who has made lots of mistakes. Alisson's blunders against Wolves were extremely uncharacteristic of him, never seen him do anything like that before.
Lloris, as many mistakes has heβs made, has saved spurs more points than cost them.
Lloris was never hyped much. Tottenham was precisely the right type of club for him but the club gets more overhyped as a big club than he ever was as a top 10 keeper. He did just fine just like Tottenham is doing just fine when around 4th.
