  1. Well at least the veteran setup put up 2 points. The younger setup seemed incredibly disorganized. Handing over the ball to Costa Rica or just juggling it between players the whole time. Both setups are not at world class level. What happened to the team that beat Netherlands and Germany? Wtf man.

  2. And Klinsmann still continues as our head coach. Gulati was there live in attendance to witness this travesty. Perhaps Gulati can now begin considering a new replacement for Klinsmann. #KlinsmannOut will hopefully soon come into fruition.

  3. US needs to rethink some things. You saw on that goal when the ball was played to the corner, and at the moment when he passed it to Campbell, ALL 4 DEFENDERS just kept ball watching and running at goal. Either a midfielder has to mark Campbell on his inside run, or the closest defender has to see him and suck towards him.

If you sit back and dare the opposition to score the whole game, you WILL NOT possess the ball, and you will eventually concede.

  4. Am I the only one who knew this was an experimental game I mean most of the players who played against Mexico aren't even playing come on guys was anyone actually watching the game…

  5. Everyone is saying Klinsmann should be fired. It's his job to coach the team. It's the players job to get RESULTS. Getting RESULTS is not the coaches job. The coaches job, is to get them ready, and Better. Period.

  6. I don't think the state of the USMNT can get much worse. We're on a 3 game losing streak for the first time in 18 years. We finished fourth in the Gold Cup and missed out on the Confederations Cup.

Something needs to change. I don't know if it's the coach that needs to go, or if we need to do a complete wipe of the players, but something needs to be done.

  7. Taylor Twellman brought up a point that most Americans don't get. Soccer/football is about results. You don't get results and change needs to happen. weather it be coach or mass players exchange or tactics. US soccer has the tendency to stick with the same coach for years upon years even if they are getting whoomped.

It sets the federation back years when the problem is broke and they don't fix it.

Right off the top of my head Jones out, Bekerman out, Altidore out, Dempsey out, Beasley Out, Zardes out. USA need midfielders composed with the ball at their feet and forwards that aren't statues out there and can actually create their shot and maybe pass it. U-23 actually has some quality players that will help the team in the areas that need to be addressed. But if Klinsmans keeps adding Wondo to a usmnt. USA will be stuck in neutral.

  8. Not putting Donovan in the World Cup and keeping Bradley on the team – Strike 1
Making the team play defensive rather than their usual attacking style, making them lose in the World Cup – Strike 2
Losing the Gold Cup and now to Mexico – Strike 3
