Chelsea are supporting Raheem Sterling after the forward was targeted by a burglary at his family home.
The incident took place at his home in Berkshire on Saturday while Sterling and his children were in the house.
In a statement to The Athletic on Tuesday, a spokesperson for Sterling said: “Whilst the ultimate violation of privacy and safety, we are thankful to be able to confirm that he and his loved ones are all safe.
“We ask that the privacy of Raheem and his loved ones be respected at this challenging time.”
Chelsea have offered support to Sterling and his family.

Sterling is kind of a bum at this point, maybe he realizes that and would rather dick around for 2 years and collect 30M £ from us and then just retire. He’s clearly not raring to go he turned down Bayern and Napoli approaches bc he wants to remain in London. That’s not a player who’s prioritizing his career to me.

Carragher is right, Chelsea is a revolving door of young players who hardly develop before being replaced by a new crop of young players, that's why this "project" won't ever reach it's full potential.
Pundits are just making shit up as they go along. They aren't actually sitting at home doing any time consuming research. That's why I don't listen to them anymore. Carragher is nonsense but he has a point though. Our transfer strategy is throwing everything at the wall and see what sticks. It's more like football manager collect all the wonderkids. And we did ruin a lot of these wonderkids because we simply can't play them.
