Germany will be without their captain when they take on Luxembourg in a World Cup qualifier on Friday.
The German Football Association (DFB) confirmed on Thursday that Joshua Kimmich suffered a ligament injury in his right ankle during training on Wednesday.

He is traveling with the team to Luxembourg, so that gives me hope. If it was serious he would go home for tests and rehab

He has to take a break, instead BILD is reporting that every effort will be made so that he’ll be on the pitch on Monday. Let’s just hope that he’ll be back in München without injury
