Cheerful as always eh Craig?
As an Arsenal fan, today's game vs Sunderland away will be our toughest game thus far. I'm more nervous about this than when we played Newcastle, City or AtlΓ©tico Madrid.
We have a lot of injuries in attacking areas: Gyokeres, Martinelli, Odegaard, Havertz, Madueke and Gabriel Jesus. We have huge games coming up after the international break in Bayern, Spurs and Chelsea. I will 100% take a 0-0 draw today at the Stadium of Light. Just don't want losing our confidence before the break and big games. Hopefully Liverpool win or draw City.
Itβs the pitches. The old ones had some give to them. Contact injuries could be sorted with ice. Now these hard pitches have no give so whatever give there needs to be happens within the bodyβ¦
Nedum is always Top
These pundits have become a parody, they are the old men shouting at clouds…telling younger players how much worse it was for them in their day. They had to walk to school in the snow!!! Thank goodness Nedum called it out. And the point about Zidane, he played 618 matches in his 16 year career since he broke into the first team, about 39 matches a season. Bernardo Silva since breaking into the first team at Benfica has played 554 matches in 12 before this season. That is 46 matches a year for their clubs.
Both has over 100 matches for their country, Zidane 108 and Silva 105 – But Silva had that over 10 years and Zidane for France over 12. So basically, Frank is wrong about players in the past playing just as much, they played less matches than they do today. As I said, these older pundits are just a parody of the old person shouting about how the past was worse for them when in reality this is not true.
Nedum is so intelligent and eloquent. Great pundit.
I hope Dan's back soon… She's unbearable
By 98' Cantona was finished, what is Frank talking about? He was playing beach football.
When did Foden have a good game for England? At best, he could be the reserve for Bellingham. Now that Foden is playing, the EPL media will start telling us that the team should be built around Foden.
Missing the chapters
Stevie Nicol needs to actually watch Liverpool games if he thinks Wirtz doesnt track back and help the LB!
All pundits 2-2 draw we`ll see
the Thomas Frank disrespect, he's a fantastic coach and he's done quite well at Spurs so far. I'm an Arsenal fan, but Frank is genuinely impressive and I wish the best (just not against us ofc)
Really, who does Burley think he is? He is rude and arrogant and carries on like he was some legendary player who won the lot…He won a title in a Mickey mouse league and 2 FA cups in an average Chelsea side…he would not have been in the squad in the Abramovich era….sick of his attitude
Really dont want to skip this podcast after Liverpool starts winning again. What a relief. I hope they will continue and win the champion league this season and maybe the epl too if Arsenal slips midseason that means after January.. keep it up Liverpool..
Frank needs to stop looking at stats and focus more on the gameπ
god shes back again …….why espn give her the main espn fc ….to much talk and wanting to the main one……turning off again …hate to miss the program and the experts …
Time stamps????
I think theyβre giving Arsenal a bit too much credit so early in the season. Iβd watch out for City and Liverpool.
steve Nicol not showing up tomorrow π€£π€£pin it
Liverpool is miles away from what they were last season. They are falling. You have underestimated Manchester City because of one bad season. Your natural assumption should have been City winning.
Liverpool tends to rise and fall every one or two seasons, but Manchester City has fallen only once.
Craig Burley is the worst of the pundits here. He's always critical of Manchester City and Manchester United and they keep disappointing him by winning. And when they do, he blames the opposition for being sloppy. Football is won because one team is brilliant and another team is sloppy.
Like I said before, liverpool were destroyed. π€£π€£π€£π€£ 3-0 steve nicol π€π½π€π½
Man Stevie was really feeling confident π
