  1. To the audio guy @Talk Sport, increase the limiter or output gain or even compensate some for the added compression…
Ps their breathes could do with a quicker release to close down quicker than hear the breath at the same volume as some words…

  2. Not sure he can be considered the best British player ever to have donned a pair of boots. Such a difficult question and you always end up forgetting someone. I am 60 yrs old at the weekend so I remember George Best, but if you watch clips of the great man now, he looks as though he is playing in slow-motion in comparison to the supreme athletes that are active today. My personal favourite is Paul Scholes, although I think there is a case for Kenny Dalglish as well. Bale would definitely be top 6 anyway.

  3. As a Welshman Bale has giving us some great memories but it was the right time before he tarnished the legacy. Doesn’t love it anymore and not a sport you can do half hearted. Good luck to him

  4. English hypocrisy believe those alcoholic had better career than Bale when they're failure inside and outside the pitch and called Bale rubbish. Bale career is much longer than both best and Gascoigne lol

  5. Best Player From UK n Ireland:
    England : Wayne Rooney
    Northern Ireland : George Best
Rep Of Ireland : Roy Keane
    Scotland : Kenny Dalglish
    Wales : Gareth Bale

  6. The Welshman won five Champions League titles and LaLiga three times at Real Madrid – That's a fantastic achievement – He's got more than 100 million in the bank – He's done very well for himself.

  7. Say what you want about bale but he always turned up in the big games ! Look at all of those champions league finals and copa del rey he scored important goals in like every game the guys a big game player world class everyone hypes up Kevin de bruyne yet he goes missing in all the big champions league games bale is a winner and I’m sure Benzema Modric and Ronaldo know how important he is !

  8. He was good on his day he popped up with a good goal every now and then but he’s not a great. He was mostly a passenger at Real Madrid , highly injury prone and with a wretched attitude

  9. Good job he wasn’t employed for his intellect. He was living in Madrid for the best part of 10 years and couldn’t say a word more than hola.

  10. My memories of Bale are he had some outstanding moments, and lots of players have. I think with Bale he's treated differently as he was expected to go on and surpass Ronaldo. There was an expectation he would dominate and week in week out be the game changer and it never happened for him. He never rose to the next level and those glimpses of something magical, were just that… glimpses.
Who knows if he could have ever been more than he was, he's retired now, I hope he enjoys it.

  11. I will remember Bale for his time at Tottenham scaring defenders senseless with his speed and his spectacular goal in the final, I will say this 20 years from now you could have a prime Bale walk back on the pitch and I guarantee the opposite team and it's supporters suddenly get very nervous, sign of a great player if you ask me !

  12. Had some good moments but earth a fortune sitting on the bench at real
    Zindane would not play him
His latter years were over hyped
Could not even get a regular spot in a mls team

  13. 176 appearances in 9 years is not great he won about 14 major trophies giggs won 24 major trophies in over 600 games. Bale loved sitting on bench and getting paid.

  14. Man I still remember when he moved to Madrid in 2013 😂 seems it’s yesterday that whole saga started and now he’s retired with 5 champions leagues he’s had an incredible career

  15. Bale’s 5 Champions League medals is a remarkable achievement. But when people say what more could he have done? He could have been up there with Ronaldo. I genuinely believe he had to potential to be the very best! He was playing in the best Madrid side of all time during the peak of his career. But he reached a point mentally where he’d rather play Golf than play Football. So for all he achieved, and I consider him to be ‘one of’ the best, you can’t deny there’s an element of a wasted talent. He had the ability of a Messi/Ronaldo, but not the mentality!
