Weghorst would be a good signing, as a stop gap for the time being with the implication that he will be our substitute striker, Ten Hag knows what hes doing and we need the depth of players like him. Hes not going to expect much in terms of playtime and money and will play for the shirt, thats exactly what we are going to need in the future. Obviously hes not the be all and end all, we will need to sign a top striker in the future to go out and grab us 20 goals next season but depth in that position is very important for now.
He's 1 in 2 goals man. No in the PL with Burnley he was 2 in 20 hahahahahahaha. But as someone with nor (Werg)HORSE in the game I think he'll do well for Utd smart move. Simple reason. Club not spending for him to sign Harry Kane or any top striker. Also no big player will be sold in Jan. So on loan or less price, he taking a gamble on available strikers who can hold up ball and offer something different to Rashford, Martial.
If Sancho, Garnacho all available on form, Rashford can play in the middle. So Weghorst is Ok to play some mins without a fuss

Name one CF who is available and “good enough” to play for a club like Man United and won’t cost 50m atleast? What top club would sell their CF to a premier league in the middle of the season without asking for ridiculous money? Weghorst is an experienced 6’6 out and out CF who has pace and personality (world cup antics and wanting to prove himself in the prem). If he can score even 10 goals for United over the next 6 months across all comps, it’s a great deal. He’s a stopgap signing that makes sense given the current circumstances. Reckon he’s a very good profile for how Ten Hag wants to play.
